J & T Products is proud to offer this quality 4th Wheel Kit for your 2003 and 2004 F5, F6 and F7 Arctic Cat Firecats, Sabercats and Sno Pros. This 4th Wheel Kit will help with the inside ski lift when cornering and straight line acceleration because it keeps the full 13.5 inches of the rear of the track supported on the ground instead of the center 5 inches of only the two inner wheels. This kit has a easy adjustment feature. The two holes for the adjuster bolts have a stainless steel nut pressed into them (nut retainer) so there is no need to hold the nuts when making the track adjustment. One more benefit is the kit will not allow the track to flex inward with the support of the wheel. This is why so many of you are missing track clips. When the track is flexing inward for thousands of miles the track clips work themselves loose and fall off.

This J & T kit is made with high quality parts and materials, starting with a hard aluminum 25 mm diameter axle that has been turned down on each end to fit 20 mm ID bearing wheels. All of the bolts are 1/8 thick fender washers and lock washers are stainless steel. The 7.120 diameter spoked wheels are a genuine Arctic Cat product. My main shaft came unturned at 25mm, but I turned it myself to 20mm (it gave me something to do fun cause this product installs way too easy) I would highly recommend getting this 4th wheel kit because it really does help a LOT with the inside ski lift. I am extremely impressed with the HIGH quality an ease of installing this. the company says 30 min....I say 10 if your sled is well maintenanced. I will definitely be purchasing the forward wheel as well. Job well done and keep the new products coming.

The OEM Arctic Cat rear axle is a thin gauge steel tube. The axle included with this kit is solid, annodized aluminum round stock. The tolerances for bearing fit are very close and the stainless, nylon type locknuts for the track tension adjuster bolts are pressed into the axle. This makes any on trail adjustments that much easier.

There are a few tips I would include if I wrote them out.

1) The included instruction sheet recommends you use the new axle to "push" the OEM axle out. This will work, however, since the new axle is aluminum and the OEM axle is steel, you may slightly damage the new axle if you're OEM axle is stubborn. I would recommend removal of the OEM axle by other means (drift,dowell,etc.) first. This will also allow better inspection of the OEM wheel bearings and spacers.

2) When performing the final tightening of the bolts on either end of the new axle, I would use a couple drops of blue or red thread locker.
